  • Science of Mantra

A statement, a sentence, a word or even a syllable which, when uttered or repeated or contemplated upon, creates a required effect upon oneself, upon the other man or upon the situation, is called a Mantra.

This definition is more broad based and can apply on all subjects including religion whereas the former is confined to religious matters only.

  • Some Hindu Mantra

Mantras was originally conceived in the great Hindu scriptures, known as the Vedas. Within practically all Hindu scriptures, the writing is formed in painstakingly crafted two line ‘shlokas’ and most Mantras follow this pattern, although Mantras are often found in single line or even single word combinations.

  • Transcendental Meditation

Transcendental Meditation, known simply as 'TM', uses simple two syllable Mantras as a meditative focus.

  • Understanding Tantric Mantras

(From wisdom of the Varada Tantra and Sanskrit Alphabet) Vedic Mantras are Tantric Mantras, and are very complex.

Western scholars have hence failed to understand tantric ‘bija (seed) Mantras’ used to invoke deities and their origins – which lie within the Sanskrit alphabet itself.

  • Way to spiritual rise

A Mantra is a religious or mystical syllable or poem, typically from the Sanskrit language. Their use varies according to the school and philosophy associated with the Mantra. They are primarily used as spiritual conduits, words or vibrations that instil one-pointed concentration in the devotee.
